Description:
In the underlying procurement process, framework contracts are to be awarded to up to six framework contract partners. With the help of this, a pool of experts is formed, through which districts, municipalities and their subsidiaries and sub-subsidiaries as well as other holdings, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia State subsidiaries and grandchildren in North Rhine-Westphalia can commission the creation of environmental reports and accompanying landscape conservation plans without their own procurement process. The framework contracts are designed as real contracts for the benefit of third parties, who are themselves public clients. NRW.URBAN is tendering the framework contracts on behalf of the Ministry of Homeland, Municipal Affairs, Construction and Digitalization as the central procurement office for the municipalities and municipal companies in North Rhine-Westphalia and will later supervise the pool of experts by offering a platform so that clients and Clients can commission a framework contract partner. The aim is to largely automate this process. The clients of the individual orders will be the districts and municipalities or municipal companies as well as the state subsidiaries and grandchildren in North Rhine-Westphalia. The framework contracts will be completed over four years.
