Description:
The BAW has been using 3DS Max, Auto-CAD Fusion 360 and Inventor Professional in a wide variety of areas.
Among other things, the products are used for the following requirements:
Cam tool for CNC milling machine (railway planning).
Create 3D models.
Creation of technical drawings e.g. for CE certifications and order work.
3D pressure order preparation.
ECAD applications.
Creating circuit diagrams and circuit boards.
To create visual models for the visual system of the ship guide simulator.
Construction of parts and assemblies for the installation of sensors on measuring ships.
For example, the BAW needs AutoCAD for 3D constructions of assemblies to be able to carry out construction space analyzes. Other CAD systems used in the BAW are only suitable for this to a limited extent, since they either target an application in GIS or in the architectural environment. Inventor files are also increasingly used for data exchange of mechanical engineering parts such as lock gates, weir closures etc. With the WSV.
