The concept of measures envisages a 1:1 repair in accordance with the current state of technology and a new supply in accordance with the original use. The workshop is within the scope of the “Inner City Monument Area” statutes. It is not subject to monument protection but is subject to ensemble protection. The institute building at the rear, which is connected via a connecting corridor, is fully protected as a historical monument. The measures from the The feasibility study carried out, the user requirements according to the space program and space requirements profile of the workshop as well as the RWTH machine list were integrated into the planning of LPH 1-4 and checked for feasibility.
