BLB NRW DU / Moenchengladbach / HN MG / HOK Textile halls / move
Large textile halls are located on the Moenchengladbach campus of the Niederrhein University is accommodated. Here, the motto "from the fiber to the end product", i.e. from raw fiber to the many different textile end products from the fields of clothing textiles, home and interior textiles as well as technical textiles.
Since the halls in many ways no longer meet the requirements for modern university business, but the university on the other hand identifies itself for reasons of tradition with the buildings, only the areas of the halls that have not been listed are dismantled and elsewhere by a new building replaced. The listed area is then redesigned and continues to be used as a machine hall for the spinning area. In order to offer the necessary construction freedom, the sometimes large -format textile machines have to be shifted several times. This results in chronologically dependent Partial sections for the move of the machines, which requires a professional implementation of the machines. i.a.
