The structural substance of the existing judicial buildings at Luxemburger Strasse 101 in Cologne has significant defects that make it impossible for the foreseeable future. The technical equipment is now out of date and no longer meets the current requirements for a judicial building and climate protection. The requirements for the Cologne judicial center have changed significantly in the past 40 years. In particular, a higher number of Court proceedings arose a significantly greater area of space.
