Verkehrsbetriebe Hamburg-Holstein GmbH (VHH for short) is a partner in the Hamburg Transport Association and operates 170 routes with over 2,300 employees and 662 buses at 13 locations in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein.
To be able to expand the focus of bus transport on e-mobility , areTo convert VHH depots accordingly. For this purpose, the VHH is planning the construction of a new workshop and administration building on the Hans-Boeckler-Ring in Norderstedt and the corresponding demolition of an existing workshop and administration building.
In the new building, two lanes for dhe buses are created: the workshop lane with a roof work station, brake tester and light adjustment station. The care lane with a car wash and petrol pumps. The necessary technical and storage rooms are located in the middle of the two lanes.
The administration, Umksuffering, information point and other necessary technical rooms housed. There is a large meeting room with a roof terrace on the top floor.
The second floor cantilevers over the washing and tank track hall by a height of around 5.50 m, so that there is a roof for stored materialsand the external fuel pump is created.
In the covered outdoor area, a paved, WHG-compliant concrete surface with dimensions of approx. 4m x 7m is to be produced. This is to be used for the outer diesel fuel pump and for filling the 60,000 liter underground diesel and AdBlue tank.
