Description:
The building of the Faculty of Architecture & Landscape in Herrenhauser Str. 8 was built in the 1960s as the Work Art School in massive construction (reinforced concrete skeleton construction); In the years 2001/2002 there was an extensive interior conversion. The building consists of 5 parts of the building (A-E). The Building has been included in the list of cultural monuments in the state capital of Hanover by the Lower Saxony State Office for the Preservation of Monuments. The Leibniz University of Hanover plans to renovate the facade and some roof areas of the building as part of a separate measure. To synergies, For example, when clearing building areas and using the interfaces between the two measures directly (e.g. connection, fire protection walls on the window facade), the facade renovation is also carried out in parallel to renovation of fire protection.
