- Remote-controlled brachy therapy fetterloader system of the latest generation including all components for commissioning, delivery, installation and acceptance is to be procured. As a replacement procurement, the University Hospital Halle (Saale) awards a delivery order for an afterloading device for Application of brachy therapy in humans. A multi-channel device for IR-192 sources including compatible transfer hoses is required. The clinic for radiation therapy has an afterloading device for the treatment of patients using brachy therapy. To use patient operation on an afterloading device A replacement of the current system is also essential from 2026. The required max. 10 weeks of delivery period result from the high urgency of this procurement.
