To cope with the challenges of climate change, the state of Bremen has a variety of measures launched. A central basis is the final report of the Enquete Commission of the Bremen Citizenship, from which the climate protection strategy of the State of Bremen emerged. This strategy pursues the goal of greenhouse gas emissions compared to the reference year 1990 to 2030 by 60 %, by 2033 by 85 % and 95 % by 2038. The heat supply at the three locations of the Bremen University of Applied Sciences is currently still being used by the use of fossil natural gas. In order to achieve the climate protection goals in the building sector, the Bremen University of Applied Sciences has decided to To switch heat supply to renewable energy sources at all locations. At the moment, the aim is to award the three locations as individual looses. However, the discharge is the subject of the dialogue talks. The aim of this award procedure is therefore to of a competitive dialogue to write out a future -proof, climate -neutral heat supply for the three locations.
