Several existing noise barriers on route 5503/5581 are technically deficient due to their construction, or defects in some transparent elements need to be corrected due to the lack of retention systems. These should be replaced to the same extent by new noise barriers. It A new building in the same location, length and height or a replacement of the affected elements is planned. On route 5581, all wall sections on the west and south sides are affected by the issue of transparent elements and door frames. On route 5503 there are up to Mering network border, as well as the transparent elements, the vibration-sensitive posts and the door frames are affected by Mering - Kissing. In the Kissing area it affects the vibration-sensitive posts as well as the door frames and in the Augsburg city area the problem occurs on both sides of the transparent elements, as well as the door frame.
