In the west of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, the Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld (SchB) is being built in the Bahrenfeld district in the Altona district. With it, Hamburg has been facing a large -scale urban planning transformation task since 2019, which not only strengthens the science location, but also as a lighthouse project for the future of urban development.
