On Hans-Sommer-Strasse, the new building for institutes of physics is built with a usable area (Nuf 1-6) of approx. 4800 m2. In the four-storey building, half of the area for laboratories, measurement and banging rooms are intended, which are located in the northern part of the building. Other usable areas areOffice space as well as seminar rooms and lecture halls. A foyer that connects the floor levels through airspace as a main development. On the ground floor, student jobs expand the foyer and enable access to the green courtyard. The technology center extendsAs a 5th floor over half of the building area.
