The planned new building is to be built on the Schillingallee campus at the University of Rostock.
The planned location benefits from the proximity to the clinical and preclinical research institutions as well as the emergency care of the university hospital.The building of the Dzne-CTU is to be created on the construction site of the University Medical Center Rostock, west of the Schillingallee.
The construction site is also in the immediate vicinity of the essential basic research laboratories of the clinical subjects of the surrounding, such as: B. theBiomedicum and the biomedical center. On the area of the construction site, the University Medical Center Rostock also intends to build its own new building (neuropart), which should be connected to the Dzne-CTU building at a later date. The direct neighborhood of bothBuilding will support the content -related synergetic effects between the two buildings. It is currently assumed that the building will be built in terms of time after the CTU.
