At the federal and state levels, there are various strategic approaches and concepts for the transformation of the nutrition systems. The Federal Government published its "Good Essen for Germany" nutritional strategy in January 2024. Berlin, Munich, Bremen, Lower Saxony also have Developed your own nutritional strategies. The various strategies support a diet that is as sustainable, ecologically, regional and plant -based as possible. Community catering (GV) can also make a significant contribution to this. The citizens of the free and Hanseatic city of Hamburg (FHH) on May 29, 2024 asked the Senate with the printed matter 22/15281 to continue the "Agricultural Concept 2025" and to develop a "Hamburg nutritional strategy". Under the leadership of the Agricultural Economics department for the environment, climate, energy and agricultural economy (Bukea) (hereinafter: agricultural department), a coordination with the Hamburg authorities responsible for nutrition has taken place by October 2024.
