- In autumn 2026, Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) will bring its locations distributed to four administrative buildings in the Speicherstadt so far in a central building. The building will be the new seat "Am Strandkai 1" in Hafencity Hamburg. A total of 1,234 employees (as of May 2025) are included in the change of location. The building was built in 2009. A fully equipped canteen on the ground floor is integrated, which is taken over by the HPA. The canteen should align the HPA's business catering sustainably - with a clear focus on quality, Sustainability and health. These aspects should not only be implemented, but also made transparent and measurable. Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) intends to award the gastronomic care at the Strandkai 1, Hamburg location.
