The client would like to constantly improve the transport offer in the mobility sector for the citizens of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. For this purpose, the client is also breaking new ground and is open to new technologies. Such a new technology is the so -called. Tele operated driving, i.e. the remote -controlled steering of vehicles in road traffic, without a real person controlling the vehicle inside the vehicle. In this technology, the client sees enormous potential with different areas of application. The Teleoperte Driving can be used in particular as pioneering bridge technology towards fully autonomous vehicles. The client would therefore like to carry out a two -year pilot project in the Hamburg district of Bergedorf and try to try out telephones.
