Care services all day GS Am Jacobiwäldchen The Am Jacobiwäldchen primary school is a two-class primary school in the rural area of the municipality of Isernhagen. From summer 2026, around 165 students will be studying in this school eight classes. A total of 40 children are currently being cared for in the after-school care center in the adjacent building. The after-school care center in Altwarmbüchen is operated by AWO Social Services District Hannover gGmbH. In addition, there is a smaller and shorter care offer through the VHS. The after-school care center is now to be replaced by an all-day program at this location. It is planned to implement full-day operation for the 2026/2027 school year in collaboration with an external cooperation partner for all four primary school years. In the Construction work is currently underway on the premises intended for the provision of services. This particularly applies to the construction of a new cafeteria building for lunch catering.
