Description:
The survey, wreck search and research ship "Deneb" has been in service for the BSH in the North and Baltic Seas for 27 years. The ship is classified according to the regulations of the Lloyds Register (LR for short). According to class requirements, after 2.5 years, a class intermediate inspection with inspection dto carry out the underwater ship in the dry dock. The ship is to be dried out for the necessary inspections and inspections and must be brought to a shipyard for this purpose from January 2023 for around 12 weeks. There are tests and acceptances as part of the intermediate class inspectionincluding all necessary repair and maintenance work according to the regulations and under the supervision of the judge. All ballast water and fuel tanks are opened for the scheduled inspection, cleaned, assessed and repaired if necessary. If it is necessaryt, the tanks should be completely sandblasted and newly preserved due to corrosion. In addition to the advance notices of the classification society and the flag state (represented by the trade association for traffic, BG-V for short), the laytime in the dry dock or at the shipyard is used to sto carry out other necessary repair and maintenance work that has accumulated over the years since the ship was last docked.
