- Catenary construction work for the 1st BA - USA Nordstadt station Since it is absolutely necessary to equip the Nordstadt station with an elevated platform for the barrier-free expansion of the light rail in Hanover, the location of the new one results in this elevated platform and the adjustment of the track axes mean that the position of the existing contact line masts is unsuitable. For this reason, an adjustment of the contact line masts and support points is necessary. The contact line system is adapted according to the System description of the ÜSTRA catenary, the preliminary technical remarks on the catenary and the ÜSTRA system sketches in their current version, including the further development of the catenary material. All components required for creation of the contact line system must be introduced at ÜSTRA for storage reasons in order to be able to restore a safe operating condition as quickly as possible in the event of damage.
