Description:
As part of the maintenance and development of various protected areas characterized by species-rich fens and transitional moors, the external allocation of parts of the mowing caterpillar program of the regional council in Tuebingen is planned.
The districts of Alb-Donau-Kreis and Biber are to be processedach, Bodenseekreis, Ravensburg and Sigmaringen.
All areas are fens or transitional moors with often small-scale changing vegetation. Some of the work areas are small and scattered in the various sub-areas. For the most part, the areas are seit several years in care. Danger zones (rootstocks, obstacles, etc.) and wet spots (peat cuts, swinging lawn, ditches) can be located within or immediately adjacent to the areas. Due to high water levels or changes in care management, annual changes may be smallere area changes in the mowing program.
