CBTC: Planning Communication systems in the fiber optic and copper cable network of the subway lines U5 and U8
CBTC: Planning Communication systems according to HOAI
As part of the CBTC project, an extensive radio communication network is set up on lines U5 and U8, which significantly modernize the train controlshould. In order for this CBTC system to be functional, large changes to the existing systems in the tunnels are necessary, which largely affects the fiber optic network, but also the telecommunications distribution rooms. Part of the necessary new fiber optic infrastructure, such as the connection of CBTCFuncepeaters are realized by the system supplier, while all the necessary extensions are directly carried out by the BVG in the BVG core network. Due to the takeover of the support for the entire fiber optic infrastructure by the BVG (specialist department VI-AV22), a planning participation is also in theServices of the system supplier to be carried out necessary. The equipment of the routes with TK technology including CU cabling and disassembly of the old systems when converting/ transferring, the equipment of the CBTC rooms with communication technology and for the equipment/ new FVT's is the BVG for thePlanary participation.
