General description:
In the coming years, the Evangelical parish of Teuditz zu Farwitz would like to further develop the Garwitz cemetery into a species -rich and attractive space adapted to climate change.
The core of the project are the conversion of the existing vegetation, the additions of natural areas to increase species, water management and the increase in quality of stay.

The project is part of the federal program for adapting urban rooms to climate change.
In order for the aim of the concept that are observed in concept finding, the implementation of climate -friendly projects, adapting the inventory of future change and increasing the attractiveness of public areas and facilities.
The cemetery is to be preserved in its kind and are resistant to the requirements of the ongoing and upcoming climate change for future use.
Part of this is the redesign of the area east of the mourning hall to a natural, species -rich structure in order to create a connection to the area and possibilities of inclusion of natural flora and ...
