• Centralization of wastewater and sludge treatment in the VG Ransbach-Baumbach - KA Haiderbach The Ransbach Baumbach community operates a sewage treatment plant next to the Hundsdorf main sewage treatment plant to purify wastewater from the respective catchment areas (Expansion size 17,250 PE) etc. the mechanical-biological sewage treatment plant Haiderbach (expansion size 3,000 PE) as well as the two pond sewage treatment plants Sessenbach (expansion size 900 PE) and Wirscheid (expansion size 400 PE). It is planned to build the Hundsdorf sewage treatment plant in the future to operate as a central plant for the treatment of sewage sludge from all sewage treatment plants operated by VG. The expansion measures required for this (including converting the process to sludge digestion) are currently being planned. The Planning of further centralization measures (conversion work on the Haiderbach wastewater treatment plant; connection of the Wirscheid and Sessenbach pond treatment plants to the Hundsdorf wastewater treatment plant) will be tendered in separate subject lots. The subject of this lot is the renovation work the KA Haiderbach. The Haiderbach sewage treatment plant was put into operation in 1998 as a mechanical-biological sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 3,000 inhabitants. Due to increased inflow loads, the plant is in line with the wastewater treatment goal at the time simultaneous sludge stabilization overloaded.
