- Depending on the company's strategy, all surface transport vehicles (buses and trams) should be equipped or converted with a tracking system in the future.
Certification for the installation of IT components in BVG buses and trams
All surface transport vehicles (Omnibus and tram) are to be equipped with a tracking system in the future, depending on the company strategy. First of all, the vehicles for the new depots "Koepenicker Landstrasse" and "Santissstrasse" must be equipped accordingly.
For the bus sector, the installation of Vehicle equipment is expected to be required in 540-2000 vehicles. The quantities mentioned are estimates and can be adjusted within the scope of the contractually agreed call-off regulations.
Any devices that may be removed will be transferred by the contractor to the main contractor. Further installations or conversions take place when expanding to additional depots or on demand when integrating additional vehicles into the equipped depots.
The client reserves the right to change the number of vehicle equipment
and adjust the number of vehicles over the course of the project.
