With the order, the city of Bochum intends to procure project control services to control three school construction projects.
City of Bochum: Project control service for the control of school construction projects 4-6
The city of Bochum (hereinafter referred to as "client") as a school authority is faced with the challenge, to meet the steadily growing space requirement due to the increasing school registrations in the Bochum city area. In this context - in addition to the requirement of renovation and maintenance measures already existing school buildings - there is a significant need for creating new sports and sports and Learning rooms. According to the school law, the client is obliged to operate school development planning. In order to fulfill these legally incumbent obligation, the client plans to counter the growing space requirement as part of a comprehensive school construction and school moderization program. This includes the necessary new construction, renovation and renovation measures for 27 school institutions. The program includes all types of school and refers to primary, support and secondary schools. Initial gross cost estimates of the client are between 4 and 145 million EUR (gross), total at around EUR 660 million (gross).
