Description:
The school building is a historic massive building built around 1876, lower cellar and 4-storey. The school building is classified as a monument according to Section 3 (2) NDSchG. The main building contains the teaching, group and differentiation rooms, the administration, multi-purpose rooms and adjoining rooms. In the UG befindet sich neben Lager- und Technikraumen ein Werkraum sowie eine Lehrkueche, diese Nutzungen sollen im Zuge des Umbaus ertuechtigt werden. In phase 1, a third staircase was built across all floors and a new manual building (with music rooms on the 2nd floor). In phase 2 the 3rd floor was (Former caretaker apartment and the unused attic) converted into school rooms and a ventilation system installed in the attic. The renovation of the sanitary cores with the creation of new rods also took place in phase 2. The school building is to be renovated, rebuilt and expanded in sections in the next few years.

In all floors except the 2nd floor the School operations continue to take place as all -day operation! The work cannot be carried out in one train due to the ongoing company.
