- The city of Cottbus intends the fundamental expansion of the city ring from the turbo circuit to the Peitz exit. The section is located in the Sandow district and as a federal road is part of the local transport connection to the north. The street leads through a commercial area with corresponding large proportion of heavy goods traffic (both as a passage and as target traffic).
The expansion sees the complete renewal of the lanes and Additional systems, including the walking and cycle paths, the drainage and green areas. The preservation of the existing trees is in the Foreground. At the same time, the continuity for traffic, but also the accessibility of the adjacent land must be ensured at all times. The execution provides for the closure of a directional lane and the diversion to the other road.
