• Description:
• The city of Regensburg is planning to operate an urban data platform (UDP) based on the CIVITAS/CORE product in the current version as part of the Smart Cities model projects funding program of the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Construction (BMWSB).
  The UDP serves as this central infrastructure for the collection, integration, management and provision of urban data. The aim is to connect various internal and external data sources and, based on an increasingly comprehensive data space, generate value-adding use cases that enable and Contribute to improving urban decision-making and administrative processes, citizen services and research projects.
  Example use cases would be:
  • in the Internet of Things (IoT) area, the collection and evaluation of sensor data, e.g. the measurement of groundwater levels and pedestrian frequencies
  • the implementation of dashboards, e.g. in the areas of education, migration or sustainability
  • the development of applications based on modeled data from the platform
  To implement use cases, collaboration between internal specialist departments, internal IT and the external contractor required:
  the specialist offices define their technical requirements
  and
  • IT (see Chapter 2.2.1 LB)
  o provides a ticket system (currently helpline) for specialist offices to record inquiries from specialist offices (role: "Helpdesk")
