The city of Weissenfels intends to revitalize the former light theater Gloria, which has an important cityscape -shaping function due to its dominant location on Merseburger Strasse. However, the building has been empty since 1997. That from the 1920sCountering buildings are in need of renovation and, due to its prominent location at the southern entrance to the Neustadt and the northern access to the train station, is an important urban planning grievance.the federal program "National projects of urban construction".
The listed main building of the former cinema is in great need of renovation. With the exception of the listed main building, the remaining buildings of the total building stock can be canceled.
