- GASCADE Gastransport GmbH is planning and building the new Wittenburg compressor station (hereinafter referred to as "VS Wittenburg") including a shut-off station on behalf of NEL Gastransport. The new building of the VS Wittenburg is a change to the existing and operational high-pressure gas pipeline North European Natural Gas Pipeline (hereinafter referred to as "NEL"). The construction project is located in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district on and on both sides of the administrative border between the city of Wittenburg and the Municipality of Bobzin north-east of the L 04 road. The new VS Wittenburg station is planned at line kilometer 198 directly north of the NEL line route. For this purpose, the NEL will be moved from its original route to the The station area, where a barrier station is being built to integrate the NEL into the planned VS, is led back to the original route. The compressor station is connected via a shut-off station for integration into the NEL. Civil engineering VS Wittenburg The compressor station consists of three electric compressor units (E-VD) in corresponding compressor halls with rooms for the EMSR technology as well as all the necessary auxiliary systems (transformer, cooler, etc.), a central header system as well Filter separator for cleaning the supplied gas quantities.
