- CKU / testing services for stability Testing services for stability The two Unna hospitals, the former Evangelical Hospital Unna and the former Katharinen Hospital Unna, merged in October 2020 as part of a corporate law agreement Merger to form the Christian Hospital Unna (hereinafter referred to as CKU) under the umbrella of the Katholischen Hospitalverbund Hellweg gGmbH and are currently operated at two locations. The former Evangelical Hospital Unna was in Christian Clinic West Site (hereinafter referred to as CKUW) and the former Katharinen Hospital was renamed Christian Clinic Unna Mitte (hereinafter referred to as CKUM). The corporate merger should take place at the CKUM location This will result in a comprehensive and needs-based supply of care for patients at a central location, eliminating the existing double provisions. The funding applied for from the hospital structure fund will be used to build a new extension as sub-project 1 (hereinafter referred to as TP1) and a new or restructuring of the existing building as sub-project 2 (hereinafter referred to as TP2) at the CKUM location, the property on Mozartstrasse, 59423 Unna, in which all Departments that were previously spread across two CKU locations will be merged.
