- The Rechts der Isar Clinic consists of around 30 clinics and departments, as well as 20 interdisciplinary centers and several scientific institutes. Every year, around 65,000 inpatients and 265,000 outpatients are treated. The Institute for Clinical Chemistry and Pathobiochemistryunder the direction of Prof. Dr. Juergen Ruland has a research spectrum of more than 500 different analysis methods. In addition to determining common clinical-chemical values, it performs a variety of hematological, coagulation-physiological, immunological, immunohematological, etcd special endocrinological examinations and carries out special medication determinations. Even outside of routine working hours, the institute's emergency laboratory and blood depot are staffed around the clock.
