- The Free State of Bavaria has been committed by law to become climate -neutral by 2040. Accordingly, a solution must also be found for non -avoidable CO2 emissions from Bavarian facilities for thermal waste treatment. According to the current status, the separation (? Carbon capture?? CC) and permanent storage or use and complete circulation of the CO2 are particularly suitable. The possibilities of implementation should be shown in a study. In particular, different departure methods with the aim of the downstream storage or use should be examined as examples of 5 suitable systems. The aim of the study is to elaborate differentiated recommendations for action for the public sector (state, municipality) with regard to a possible implementation of CC technology at Bavarian tab.
