Description:
As part of changes to the terminal processes, it has become necessary to redesign the retail and residence concept in the security area at the departure level in Terminals 1+2.
The present tender here refers to the awarding of services for planning the technical Equipment LP 1 - 8 for the conversion area: Terminal 1: Residence concept of the future (departure level - security area)
These parts of the building were designed by the architect Schneider-Esleben 50 years ago. The planning/conversions that have now been required should underline the impression of the building created in the 70 years and increase the quality of stay. Furthermore, the "Starwalk", the connection building of the two stars - Designed, redesigned by the architect Helmut Jahn.
The following requirements must be taken into account when planning, tendering as well as the cost and scheduling planning:
- The conversion area is completely in the security area of the terminal.
- The renovation takes place in phases at full Terminal operation.
Here the coordination regarding noise and dust-intensive work- against the background of the check-in, security control + boarding times- is necessary.
