- The subject of the tender is the treatment and combating of the oak procession spinner along the federal waterways Donau and Main-Donau-Canal in the area of responsibility of the outdoor districts of the waterway and shipping office Donau MDK. The performance includes the treatment of the infected oaks against oak processionary moth using two -time syringes of nematodes at a distance of 7 to 14 days. The larvae should be located in the development stage L1 to L3 (the smaller the better), hence the planned period in spring, in April and May. The mechanical control, the second step in the fight against the oak processionary moth, is the removal of the caterpillars and their nests. This execution takes place in the period from June to August. The sacks with the sucked -out caterpillars and nests must be released in plastic barrels, which are completed with a lid to avoid free hair, for a waste incineration plant for thermal disposal. Proof of disposal must be submitted to the AG with the invoice.
