At the BGE, the BIM methodology is currently in particular in the planning and implementation phases of the construction project. Various Common Data Environments (CDES)
several manufacturers are used there, which meet the individual and "historical" needs of the repository projects(So-called Project Cdes; Products: Autodesk Construction Cloud (Autodesk),
Dalux (Dalux), Eplass (ThinkProject)). These project CDEs are infrastructurally self-sufficient data management units that have developed or develop from everyday requirements. In a long point of view, it is the intentionTo standardize, integrate the data and functional scope of the project CDEs and to take into account all building-dependent BGE processes, so that a continuous overall system is created in which the BIM model data is managed and made accessible. This system is said to be the name BGE-CDEcarry and be a permanent and expandable BIM data platform.
