Description:
The TU Ilmenau intends to develop a structured, university-wide tutoring college. This is intended to systematically bundle the previously decentralized tutor structures into a common college and organize them in terms of didactics and content and visibly recognize the tutors- work through a certificate. Students in higher semesters are encouraged to get involved in the college as tutors and pass on their experiences to first-year students and fellow students. The aim is to to improve the support of all students - both national and international - throughout the entire student life cycle through a peer-to-peer approach. A particular focus is on the introductory phase of the first semester Semester. In addition, the college is intended to promote student success as well as the socio-cultural personality and skills development of the students. Through this commission, the TU Ilmenau would like to create a conceptual framework that forms the basis for a... professionalized and sustainable qualification program for student tutors - including the creation of didactic modules, a certificate structure and implementation strategy.
