Construction and stimulation of a network of ecoland construction and composting (NOeK)
In order to motivate the use of high -quality composts in ecoland construction intensively, are specific within this contract Services for building and maintaining a network of ecoland construction and composting (NOeK).
The overarching goal of this network is to make a central contribution to the sustainable nutrient and humus supply of the growing ecoland construction through the use of suitable biogut and green goods compost to be achieved in Baden-Wuerttemberg (area of 30-40 % of the farmers-like usable area) and accordingly to significantly increase the compost sales in ecological farming.
An essential component for target achievement is the networking of the stakeholders on the subsequent levels:
- Companies (ecoland construction and compost management)
- Advice / quality care
- Associations / institutions
Furthermore, analogous and digital platforms to spread specialist information on compost quality and application as well as to ecological and agricultural benefits of composts should be developed and be provided. These are intended to strengthen the necessary base of trust between ecoland construction and compost management, which is considered a prerequisite for the expansion of the compost sales to ecological farming.
