Construction, connection and operation of a grid-serving storage facility
Construction, connection and operation of a grid-serving storage facility in the
in the immediate vicinity of a substation.
The storage should be designed as battery storage.
The sizing applies as follows:
- Active power: 20 MW
- Capacity: 80 MWh
For the network, the operation of storage systems to serve the network is a possible and sensible alternative. The legal basis for this is Section 11a EnWG, which states that electricity network operators are responsible for the construction, management and operation of a storage facility owned by a third party advertise in an open, transparent and non-discriminatory process.
