- The subject of the award is the production of a fully functional and operational atmospheric 1-zone heat storage with the other agreed properties as lot 5 (WS) of the overall "CALOR" project. Construction of a heat storage as part of the overall Calor Der AG project As a regional energy supplier, it operates, among other things, a district heating network with currently around 350 km of route length and around 7,000 customer connections for around 70,000 residential units. He intends to expand his district heating generation as part of the overall "CALOR" project using environmental heat from the Kiel Fjord Large heat pump system with a total output of around 100 MWth and to expand with an additional heat storage, which should also be able to absorb heat from the AG's existing existing systems. The overall "CALOR" project is intended to be on the northern part of the former company premises of the former and now dismantled Kiel joint power plant (hereinafter also referred to as "GKK") in the immediate vicinity of the gas engine thermal power plant operated by the AG (also called "coastal power plant" or "GHKW") and the AG's east heating plant; it is made up of different Individual lots, of which lot 5, which is the subject of the contract, is concerned with the planning, construction and commissioning of the additional heat storage, for which the contractor must also carry out the trial operation owed.
