The Regionaltangente West (RTW ) is a new tangential rail connection in the Rhine-Main arear Improvement of local public rail transport in the Frankfurt am Main metropolitan area. It primarily serves to better connect the western districts of the city of Frankfurt am Main as well as the surrounding districts, cities and communities with each other and to improve accessconnection to Frankfurt Airport. The project is divided into the planning approval sections PFA North PFA Central as well as PFA South I and South II.
