Description:
The DB is planning to convert the Frankfurt(M) Stadium railway junction. In order to redesign the railway junction, measures to ensure the drinking water supply for the Goldstein waterworks in the Frankfurt (Main) city forest must be implemented (so-called measure "Replacement water procurement"). The subject of the award is the following construction work in the water protection area (WSZ II and III) of the Frankfurt city forest: - Dismantling of four sampling wells in the bird corridor. - Construction of five new extraction wells in the Vogelschneise (including 2 wells as shallow extensions up to a depth of 66 m and perhaps 3 wells as deep extensions up to a depth of 112 m). - Laying an approx. 2 km long DN 200-500 GGG well connection pipe between the new extraction well and the Goldstein waterworks open construction using the head-to-head method. The planned route crosses the Deutsche Bahn tracks twice. - Creation of two railway crossings in pipe jacking with protective pipe DN 1200 (crossing structures well connection pipe). - Making three Seepage slot structures (approx. 90 m each) in the Tyrolean corridor. - Laying an approx. 1.6 km long DN 400 - DN 200 GGG infiltration supply line as a branch from the existing DN 600 infiltration line in Flughafenstrasse to the seepage slot structures in the Tyrolean aisle in open construction using the head-to-head method. - Creation of 7 groundwater measuring points in the project area.
