- Construction work - main award - Dresden-Neustadt freight railway complex Renewal of Dresden-Neustadt freight station The existing systems of the inner-city limited station part of Dresden-Neustadt Gbf (route 6246 km 0.4-2.5) are to be converted into one in the years 2027-2029 Total closure needs to be completely renewed. With the track plan reduced to 5 tracks and extended to 740m usable length and the equipment adapted to it (including approx. 240 lighting masts, approx. 5.5km of chainwork, point heating, fiber optic cable for New connection of the ESTW to the UZ DN and TK equipment (modular buildings and switches) will meet the requirements of modern freight transport. Also part of the project complex are the technically independent EÜ Erfurter Straße (under Taking into account the applicable monument protection) and EÜ Harkortstrasse (taking into account the crossing tram), as well as a total of approx. 300m of retaining walls and approx. 500m of partially transparent noise protection wall.
