- Country: Home-based Description of the Assignment: The Consultancy is aimed at conducting functional analysis of the Communications team at UNV, which is part of the External Relations and Communications Section (ERCS).The Communications team is undergoing a restructuring to enhance efficiency and align roles with strategic objectives. As part of this process, there is a need to design a new structure, review existing and propose new job descriptions to ensure that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and aligned with the new structure. The complexity of this task is heightened by the fact that part of the communications functions are outposted outside the section, in regional offices and field units.The consultant will:•Conduct a thorough analysis of the current structure and job descriptions.•Identify gaps and areas for improvement in the current job descriptions.•Develop new job descriptions that reflect the changes in the teams structure.•Ensure that the new job descriptions are aligned with the organizations strategic framework, as well as with current requirements, and comply with relevant policies and regulations.•Provide recommendations for any additional changes needed to support the new structure.
