Consulting services and project management for the development and implementation of the Smart City strategy of the city of Geestland In July 2021, the city of Geestland was selected as the Smart City model project for the 3rd season. On behalf of and in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Developmentng and building, integrated smart city strategies and their implementation are promoted.
After the smart city strategy of the city of Geestland was drawn up, an implementation phase of the measures specified in the strategy now follows. Due to the high speed of digitization, hieWe also want to continuously review, update and adapt the strategy.
Geestland wants to combine sustainability and digitization and thus make an important contribution to global sustainability.
The following eight fields of action are to be worked on in a focused manner:
- Mobility
- Energy
- Education
- (Agricultural) economy
- Health, care and nutrition
- Housing, life, leisure
- Sustainable digital urban development
- Digitization (overarching)
The goals were developed for each field of action and the measures for one inclusive and sustainable urban development in the Smart City Strategy, which are now to be implemented.
