Conversion, expansion and renovation of the Besselgymnasium in Minden - structural engineering and building physics
The city council of the city of Minden has decided to expand the school location Besselgymnasium, to convert in some areas and to renovate. The aim is to expand the location into a 5-time secondary level I and a 6-day secondary level II. It is planned to locate the false areas into an extension and also to the existing stock. The areas in the stock must partially be remodeled and visually renovate. The two sports halls are not included in this measure. The structural implementation is planned in two construction phases: 1st construction phase, expansion and 2nd construction phase, conversion and renovation existing building.
The Besselgymnasium has been the first of 5 NRW sports schools since the 2008/2009 school year. This has been located since 1976 Gymnasium on Hahler Strasse. The two sports halls, component C and D, are divided into the one-storey, partially basement of the main building, component A, the north-east direction. A three -storey, two -hip class wing stretches south from the one -storey main building. Another three -storey, doubtful class wing, component B, is divided into the main building in a north.
A single -storey, two -hip class wing, in modular construction, is temporarily located between the main building and the parking lot in the east.
