- Conversion of ground floor into IMC tower 2 - medical gases A central intermediate care unit (IMC) is to be built in tower 2 in the area of the current doctor's office on the ground floor. The IMC relieves the intensive care unit, offers 5 single rooms/isolation rooms and 7 twin rooms in close proximity to the intensive care unit. The associated ventilation center is located on the garden level below in the area of the changing rooms and washrooms. In the IMC ward, the bed rooms are supplied with oxygen, Compressed air and vacuum provided. The main risers for the medical gases are located in the middle zone of the ground floor. The medical gases for supplying the 1 and 2 bed rooms are connected there. There will be two on the ground floor Area valve stations provided for monitoring and distribution of medical gases to the 1 and 2 bed rooms. The single rooms have ceiling supply units with two arms. The gas and vacuum connection to the ceiling unit is made using flexible connecting cables. The gas sampling points are provided for installation in the infusion and ventilation sides. The twin rooms have a gas extraction point for oxygen and compressed air for each bed, as well as a vacuum connection Installation in the media rail.
