Description: The newly developed district of Kreuzfeld is located west of the Flower Mountain district between the Fauna Flora Habitat area "Worringer Bruch" in the north, the railway route Cologne-Dormagen in the West as well as agricultural and forestry areas in the south. The investigative room is about 80 hectares and is agricultural, partly forestry used.
The aim is to develop as part of the integrated planning on the urban planning concept developed in the competitive dialogue, including the urban master plan, including a design guideline as the basis for subsequent development planning. The planning area is planned with at least 3,000 residential units and about 6 900 inhabitants, social infrastructure (education, care and health care facilities), public open spaces, green areas, shops and jobs.
