• Description:
• It is intended to continue the long-standing information series in 2026 with what is now the 33rd edition of the documentation “Bridges and Tunnels on Federal Highways”. Since the aim is to continue beyond this, one Contract extension planned for documentation in 2027. The volumes 1994 to 2000 were published by Verkehrsblatt-Verlag Dortmund, the volumes 2001 to 2009 were published by Bundesanzeiger Verlag GmbH Cologne. Volumes 2010 to 2025 are directly from today's Federal Ministry of Transport (BMV). This is also planned for volumes 2026 and 2027. The purpose of the publication is to inform the BMV about outstanding construction achievements in bridge and tunnel construction on federal highways. Using 10 examples of technically sophisticated and well-designed bridge and tunnel structures, not only interesting new construction but also replacement new construction, upgrading and repair measures are presented to a broad specialist audience. The publication is also addressed to colleges and universities in Germany as well as interested citizens. In the past, there was great interest in the documentation every year, including at specialist conferences present. In addition to the documentation itself, a presentation is also included in the scope of services. From 2026 onwards, display boards for an accompanying exhibition will be produced in-house by the BMV printing company for the first time. The The annual magazine is published in printed form and on the BMV homepage with the option of ordering, browsing and downloading.
