In cooperation between the Water Purpose Association in the Birkenfeld district, the Nonnweiler District Association, the Hermeskeil community and the Trier municipal utility, the feasibility of a composite system for the local cooperation in the field of water supply is to be examined in more detail. ThisThe feasibility study is intended to investigate the implementation of a composite system, which should provide drinking water in good quality with high supply security at a reasonable price with sustainable resource economy. In the course of processing, the needs forecast mustof the individual areas, concepts for drinking and raw water supply and distribution are made in a network. The result of the feasibility study is intended to show the technical and economic implementation of a possible water composite system. In addition to increasing security of supplyLong -term stabilization of drinking water prices in the areas of the project participants are to be achieved. In addition, by the more targeted development and management of the presentation of existing systems as well as the most efficient utilization of existing systems, the release of drinking water into neighboring,bordering areas outside the area are sought. The basis for processing are the water management framework plans of the federal states of Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland.
